Nasi Tim Ayam (Steamed chicken rice)

We had playdate yesterday (Tuesday, April 29). So there were 5 kids: Jacelyn, Abigail, Jonathan, Jeremy Glenn and Sammy. I made steamed chicken rice (nasi tim ayam) that I have been wanting to make for weeks now :-) Turned out pretty good... Abigail loved it.... It's easy to make too :-)



Can you believe that all the kids and 4 mommies ate all of these :-) WE DID :-)



My son, Jeremy only like the rice but will not eat the chicken :-( He is such a PICKY EATER :-( Here he is picking the chicken out :-(

Jeremy Glenn's awana graduation

Here is Jeremy Glenn's Awana class. He has been taking Awana for 1 year at Grace brethren Church in powell. It is kind of like Christian boy scouts. They memorized bible verses to earn badges and do good things to earn points as well.



Here is Glenn with his teachers. They said a little bit about each kid's unique personality when they handed out the certificate.




This is what they said about Jeremy Glenn," He is such a loving boy. He always gives us hugs. He is very artistic, always take time to color and do artwork. He is also very appreciative of every little things that he received."

Of course we are very proud parent :-)

Sammy's effort to crawl

Look at SAMMY!!! He is trying to crawl :-) He did a good job but I think his butt is just too heavy :-).... I am excited though because I think he will be able to crawl in a week :-)(Maybe not since i will have to chase him around :-) )

As you can see, tulip is my favorite flowers... here are some of my tulips. We planted over 200 of them. Unfortunately, this year the flower is much smaller than last year. They are still pretty though

Indonesian Night

We went to Indonesian night on Saturday. Jeremy Glenn participated in the fashion show :-). Here he is in his handsome Javanese outfit with auntie Daisy who kindly watches the boys monday-wednesday when I teach.


They had a blast dancing to poco poco...

YUMMY FOOD

We had a very lazy and relaxing weekend just now... Did not do anything, just sit around at home. Luki and Jeremy Glenn was enjoying and playing their new WII game and I went on a COOKING SPREE :-)
